Who We Are

Two time GRAMMY® nominated Chief Engineer Mike Ferretti’s ability to communicate with artists and translate a unique sonic vision has lead him to work with artists such as Sevendust, Thank You Scientist, Call Me No One, Zakk Wylde, Kevin Martin of Candlebox, , Bernie Williams, Danny Aiello, Max Weinberg (of the E Street Band), Regina Carter, Kenny Aronoff, Shawn Pelton, Lee Sklar, T-Bone Wolk, and Bob Babbitt.

Mike spent the first two years of his career sitting next to GRAMMY® award winning Producer/Engineer/Mixer Jason Corsaro. Mike earned the opportunity to work alongside P/E/M’s like Ron Nevison, Ron Saint Germain, Joe Ferla, Bill Laswell, Ben Elliot, Commissioner Gordon, and Earl Cohen.

Mike earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music with a concentration in Sound Engineering from William Paterson University. He attended on a classical track, playing the French Horn as his primary instrument. Being a classically trained musician is an integral part of Mike’s ability to communicate with the artist.

Working with highly regarded P/E/M’s and studio musicians has given Mike a diverse skill set allowing him to not only to capture great sounds, but also to recognize what goes into a truly brilliant performance.

Shane understands what it means to be a musician, engineer, and performer. He spent his first two years of his career interning, then later assisted for Producer J. Robbins (Clutch, The Sword, The Dismemberment Plan). Soon after, Shane has had the opportunity to assist Mike Ferretti for Sevendust, Thank You Scientist, Sidewise, and many more. He has worked locally with bands such as Skysend, The Paragon Image, Chevonne & The Fuzz, among others.

Shane graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a degree in Music Recording Technology with an emphasis in Percussion. He dedicated most of his life playing drums in various bands and ensembles throughout Baltimore and the North Jersey area. In addition to his engineering and musical capabilities, Shane also works alongside artists as Studio Manager from start to finish planning and creating the best product imaginable.

Kurt Wubbenhorst is a multi-instrumentalist, educator, producer, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Architekt Music. Kurt has worked with Sevendust, Wolfgang Van Halen, OneHundredThousand, Hello Demons Meet Skeletons, Ali Brustofski, Jerad Finck, Candlelight Red, Walking With Giants, Drifting Figures, Deadfish Handshake, Bryan Fenkart, Call Me No One, Revolve, Maybe Bomb, Viasava, and many more. Despite his ability to play several instruments exceptionally well, Kurt's real strength lies in his ability to visualize and execute all aspects of the creative process in a complete and cohesive way.

Kurt has enjoyed most of his success as a recording artist as a keyboardist & sound designer, including his work on the GRAMMY nominated Sevendust song, "Thank You". He founded Architekt Music with co-founder George Roskos in 2010.
